A Glimpse Behind the Lens
Based in Thornhill and working throughout the GTA and beyond, I capture real moments with care, curiosity, and creative intention.

Meet Ezzie
WHO AM I?
Hi, I’m Ezzie — a photographer, creative, and storyteller based in Thornhill and working throughout Toronto and the GTA.
What started behind the lens on the streets of NYC turned into a calling: capturing people not just as they look, but as they feel. Whether it’s the quiet in-between glances, the big celebration energy, or the subtle magic of an ordinary moment — I’m here for all of it.
My Why
To me, photography is emotional architecture.
It builds a bridge between memory and moment — a place where people can return to not just see what was, but feel it again.
I’m drawn to the raw, real, and sometimes unexpected — the nuance in human connection, the texture in tradition, and the vibe of moments that might otherwise slip by unnoticed. This work lets me give others a keepsake of their truest self, their loudest laugh, or the way light happened to fall when everything just clicked.
My How
I work intuitively and unobtrusively, allowing moments to unfold naturally rather than forcing them. I don’t chase perfection, I seek authenticity. My goal? To create a space where you can truly be yourself, where there’s no pressure to perform, just the freedom to exist. The result? Photos that aren’t just cinematic, but emotionally resonant, grounded in who you are, capturing the essence of a fleeting moment in time.
WHat Else
There’s more to my work than just what happens behind the lens. I’m endlessly inspired by the world around me, and it shows up in every photo I take.
I grew up with deep South African roots, and today, I call Thornhill home. I’m constantly fueled by travel, music, street photography, and film. Whether I’m walking through a buzzing street market in Tel Aviv, catching golden hour in New York, or rewatching a perfectly shot scene from one of my favourite movies, I’m always looking for light, emotion, and story.
Judaism plays a big role in how I see the world—it grounds me, connects me to community, and reminds me of the importance of ritual, meaning, and memory. These values come through in the way I approach simchas, branding shoots, and even casual portraits.
Street photography taught me to anticipate moments before they happen, to look for the in-between, and to honour authenticity above all else. Music helps me feel; movies help me frame; travel keeps my curiosity alive.
Each of these pieces—my passions, my roots, and my outlook is part of what makes my work personal and real.
